Designed specifically for drivers of smaller vehicles who don’t want to leave their fuel efficient cars at home while on the road simply because they don’t have enough cargo space, the Rightline Gear PackRight Sport 1 Car Top Carrier is the perfect choice for wagons, crossovers, and sedans. And for households with small and large cars, it will certainly also fit larger vehicles. With a carrying capacity rated at 12 cubic feet and dimensions measured at 38� L x 34� W x 14-18� H, it can easily pack away most items that would otherwise monopolize the cargo and passenger space of a smaller vehicle. Like all models in the PackRight Sport product line, the Sport 1 can be quickly installed on and removed from both vehicles that have cargo racks and those without one. Vehicles without a rack extend the Sport 1′s straps into the vehicle’s cabin and around to the other end of the carrier to provide a secure hold. Alternately a Rightline Gear Car Clip Strap Set and nonskid roof protection pad (each sold separately) allow for securing of the Sport 1 via the upper edges of most vehicle door openings. The Sport 1 also zips open on three sides, allowing for convenient access to carrier contents and can be loaded on the ground, or after placing it on the roof of your vehicle. Finally not ignoring aesthetics, the Sport 1′s attractive two-toned gray and black styling will set your vehicle apart as you haul your extra gear. Additional accessories available include: a waterproof liner, additional straps and the PackRight Security Combination Lock.

ZipRight In-The-Flap Technology

Rightline Gear carriers feature the innovative ZipRight zipper system, a urethane coated zipper located on the protective flap to keep rain out. Other bags feature a conventional zipper located at the junction of the protective flap and the bag – right where the wind forcefully drives a large amount of rain water. ZipRight’s “in the flap technology” solves this age old car top bag problem minimizing the chance of contact with water by a simple design change. In addition to this, if you would like to be 110% sure of keeping your gear dry, you can add the PackRight waterproof liner (sold separately).

Hydrotuff Two-layer Material

PackRight Cargo Bags are made from Rightline’s specially formulated Hydrotuff material. Hydrotuff consists of a 600 denier woven polyester outer layer mated to a PVC inner layer. The resulting combination is a high quality, great looking, waterproof material perfect for use in cargo bags. Hydrotuff material keeps its properties in extremely hot or cold temperatures. It is rated at UPF50 for UV protection which means it blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful rays. Additionally, the vivid colors of PackRight cargo bags will not fade over time. Logos are screen printed on the material and sealed in place. Rightline Gear has used Hydrotuff in their bags for years and have had nothing but positive results. The end result is a material that is tough and provides a great looking accent for your vehicle when you have to carry extra gear.

Rightline Gear warrants for one (1) year from the date of purchase that all PackRight products will be free of material defects and that Rightline Gear will repair or replace any defective or damaged product free of charge if it is returned in original condition by the consumer to Rightline Gear or the place of purchase. Claims of defective material and/or workmanship must be made in a timely manner.
